  • Courses that have the same instructor in the Fall 2020 term should be informed immediately my letter of accommodation.Emphasis on avoiding Master Degree students,PhD students,Postdocs and New Faculty.This term is very interesting as many courses that has been historically taught by professors are now taught by PhD students and Postdocs,this is due to me not knowing when professors have sabbaticals and there is no transparent schedule for students to see and gauge whether to take a course or not.There seems to be scraps all around but no concrete schedule.What was most shocking was MATH-3241 being taught by a Teaching Assistant,hopefully follows Professor Dong Liang grading scheme to the letter and tries to replicate the notes posted typed in LATEX in detail,I cannot drop the course as it is a direct prerequisite to MATH 4141(Advanced Numerical Methods) taught in Fall 2021 by Professor Dong Liang and I need to take this course. Seems for MATH 3172(Combinatorial Optimization) i need to skip as he doesnt prepare detailed notes and explains things while leaving very important facts,need to take it with a different professor in Winter 2022.
